Iraqis take part in a reenactment commemorating the events of the Battle of Karbala during the Islamic month of Muharram, in Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar province, southern Iraq, on July 6, 2025. Participants, dressed in historical costumes, set symbolic tents ablaze to represent the burning of the camps of Imam Hussein and his family in the year 61 AH (680 CE).
